"Wish I Would Have Thought Of That"
USNEWS, March 02, 2005 -- It's the first time I've said that in, well, lots of years. But I said it out loud this morning when a friend of mine in Memphis mentioned that he had gotten a new electric heating pad for his birthday.
Yeah, that's what I said: "So, big woopie." Right?
But then he proceeded to tell me that this was no ordinary electric heating pad. In fact, it wasn't a heating pad at all, It was an electric heating "pouch".
He pointed out - correctly - that a "pad" is flat... as are all electric heating pads. But this one is not flat, it's curved, or contoured.
The people who manufacture "JointHeat" say it is the "World's First Electric Heating Pouch". And the curvature is engineered so that the custom designed unit fits all five body joints:
the shoulder, the knee, the hip, the elbow and the ankle.
